The Hangman bracket was designed originally for use on scissor lifts. Scissor lifts are tight especially when you have more than one guy up there. The lock pin ensures that the bracket cannot accidentally come off of the rail without some real effort. Fits both round and square scissor lift rails. The Hangman also fits on 2x4's and ladders.
