This bolt-in, saddle mount kit is designed for exclusive use in the 1987-95 Jeep YJ Wranglers. It is used to install a GM V8 and TH350 / 700R / 4L60 / 4L60E at the same time. This bolt-in engine kit is ideal only when using a GM auto up to the stock transfer case or an Atlas transfer case (left drop).

Note: The bolt-in engine mount saddle does not fit GM's late model Gen III / LS-Series engines. This mount will not work on 383 Stroker motors or 400 small blocks or aftermarket V8 oil pans with the depth of the front of the pan exceeds 3-5/8".
Note: It is not recommended to use this bolt-in engine mount saddle when attempting to retain the stock Jeep transmission (manual or automatic).
Note: It is not recommended to use this bolt-in engine mount saddle when using the GM 4.3 Litre V6. Due to the 4.3 being physically shorter than the V8, the 4.3 will sit to far forward of the firewall. This creates a not so ideal engine placement. We recommend using our weld-in engine mount kit when using the 4.3L V6.
