Though this cover is not waterproof, it does provide interior protection from wandering eyes and debris. Tonneau Covers are available for both hard and soft top 2 Door JL Wranglers. The Soft top models use your factory tailgate bar for Tonneau cover install. ***Note: Though this cover is made of waterproof materials, it is not waterproof. Water can enter the cab in-between the roll bar sleeves, through the rear of the vehicle as well as possible water flowing towards the front of the vehicle due to pooling water during heavy downpours. The Tonneau cover must be removed when installing your soft top windows or putting the hard-top back on your vehicle.
