The 5/8" induction hardened chrome plated shaft will not buckle, bend, or corrode. Teraflex checks all of their Falcon shock hardware with a 1,000-hour salt spray corrosion resistance test. The internal billet piston is hard anodized for extended wear resistance. To prevent cavitation, Teraflex uses an inline Oil Gas Separator (OGS) and 1-piece Teflon bronze piston wear band with O-ring.
Synthetic Oil: The oil used in Falcon shocks is a high-tech Red Line full synthetic shock oil. It is used for its high viscosity index of 519, and is designed for constant heavy-duty use without fading. The formula contains anti-wear and lubricity agents to extend the life of your shocks.
