The 32/36 DGEV conversions can deliver up to 18% hp increases over factory carburetors as well as up to 10-20% in fuel economy (depending on driving style). With a slight sacrifice in fuel economy, the larger 38 DGES carburetor provides more brisk acceleration & more bottom-end torque while maintaining the same top-end performance as the 32/36 DGEV carburetors.
