The problem with the stock transfer case shifter linkage is that it attaches your shifter to the body and is then attached to the transfer case. It's a rather poor design from the start. Here's why. When a 97-06 Wrangler has a body lift, engine swap, transmission swap, riser motor mounts or a high clearance belly pan, the transfer case shifter will bind making it very difficult to engage or disengage the transfer case. This Patent Pending design eliminates the attachment point at the body to eliminate geometric discrepancies from stock.

This 1-piece self-support mechanism is simple to install and will correct shifter binding completely. Stock Wranglers will even shift 20% better with the bracket.

97-04 Jeep Wrangler TJ with AX5 & NV3550 Manual Transmissions must use Skyjacker Transfer Case Shifter Correction Bracket designed specifically for Manual Transmissions.
