The Crown Automotive Tie Rod Assembly will surely tighten up the play that has developed in your CJ's steering. If your tie rod ends wear out, the slack will allow play in the steering and you may notice a wobbly front end. A loose steering system can lead to premature or uneven tread wear on the tires or allow vibrations and movement to ruin other parts connected to it like the drag link or steering knuckles. You could just change the ends, but this Crown Tie Rod is a complete direct replacement with fresh solid-tubular steel and adjusters.

Original Replacement: Made to the same production standards for fitment and adjustment, assembly installs without modification to knuckles or drag link.

Steering Stabilizer: Same diameter steel tubing so you can reuse your factory steering stabilizer and bracket to reinstall on this assembly

Tighter Control: Loose steering can cause a host of issues, mainly instability at highway speeds which could be a safety concern.
