These replacement ball joints are CNC-machined from forged SAE 1045 carbon alloy steel for the ultimate in durability, while ball studs are made from induction heat-treated, forged 4140 chromoly steel for superior performance. Upper joint bearing utilizes carbon steel design superior to factory quality and lower joint offers military-grade bearings for increased anti-friction and stability. Yukon includes a synthetic neoprene outer boot and inner seal pancake boot to help safeguard interior against road grime, oil, gas and engine fluids, as well as higher temperatures.
