Clayton's goal with this gas tank skid plate was to create the strongest, smoothest replacement system which locks together with Clayton's transfer case and engine skid plate. They are all designed to work with either Clayton's long arm system or Clayton's HD cross member.
If you are installing in conjuntion with Clayton's long arm system, some cutting of the skid plate is required for fitment inclduing needing to remove one mount.
