All it takes is someone to pop the ignition lock, start the vehicle and drive away with your Jeep!
With the ADE-II installed, after the ignition key is turned to the run position, you swipe one of the supplied magnets past the hidden switch that you pick where to install behind the plastic dash, and the relay will re enable the electronic circuits that were disabled.
Now, unless the thief knows where to pass the magnet, or has the wherewithal to figure out why its not starting, most likely you'll find the Jeep with a broken lock cylinder... and not just find its tracks.
There is a by-pass built in, so on a day where you're on the trail or you may have others driving your Jeep, you can make a simple connection and by-pass the system, so others don't need to know the position of the magnet.
The install manual is documented for Jeep Wrangler TJ's, from 1997 to 2006 models. This system may be used on any vehicle, with or without fuel injection, just need to properly determine which circuit to interrupt.
NOTE: Installation of this kit DOES require one of the OEM Jeep harness wires to be cut.
