After WWII, countless US military Jeeps were left in the Philippines along with a stockpile of surplus parts. In 1967, MD Juan Enterprises began selling existing MB military surplus parts to rebuild and restore these beloved American warhorses. After surplus demands began to exceed supply, MD Juan heavily invested in re-manufacturing these parts with exacting detail for the highly collectible Military Jeeps. Sales continued to grow through the 1970's as MD Juan began to export their exclusive line of restoration bodies and components to the US and around the world. Since then, the MD Juan product line has expanded to include a full range of high-quality body parts and body tubs for both military and civilian (CJ) Jeeps®. Quadratec has partnered with MD Juan to offer a full range of parts for your restoration needs at prices that won't break the bank.

These faithful reproduction body tubs feature the correct 18 gauge steel at the flooring areas, firewall, brackets, cowl assembly, and wheel housings. Body sides and rear corner panels use slightly thicker 16 gauge steel. The body tubs are assembled with spot welds like the originals and feature a seven-step metal preparation process which includes a cleansing bath to remove rust, dirt and grease; a phosphate and acid rinse to ensure corrosion resistance and promote primer adhesion. Finally, an advanced primer formula is then applied with a smooth and even finish. All tubs have the necessary body mounting channels and are ready for prep and paint. Dash, firewall and transmission tunnels
feature blank areas to accommodate all applications. Units include the entire body from the firewall back. Tailgates sold separately. Body tubs also feature a blank dash panel and a steel glove box with door.
There will be drilling and some modifications for most installations. Many holes are pre-punched and some include internal fasteners where applicable. Units arrive pre-primed but will need to be prepped prior to painting. These brand new steel bodies are imported directly from the MD Juan in Philippines; the only manufacturer in the world that is currently reproducing these vintage bodies.
Body tubs ship by truck freight in sturdy wooden crates.
