ICON 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner / FJ Cruiser Suspension System with Billet UCA

This system features upper control arms with ICON's patented Delta Joint. The Delta Joint is a heavy-duty high angle ball joint that combines the durability of a ball joint with the performance characteristics of a traditional uniball. While the industry standard uniball does a great job of allowing the control arms of a vehicle to articulate with little bind, they do have an inherent weakness that leaves more to be desired when used in a daily driven application - exposure to the elements. The Delta Joint features a zinc plated housing providing the first layer of corrosion resistance, while a tough grease seal keeps potentially harmful elements out of the inner workings of the joint. Metal on metal construction and a greaseable design increase the longevity of the Delta Joint while at the same time allowing for noise-free operation. What makes the Delta Joint unique is that it brings the best of both worlds to ICON upper control arms with features that make it more robust than a uniball, and at the same time capable of greater angularity than a typical ball joint.

IVD-K53051 - Stage 1

This is ICON's entry level suspension system for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser. The Stage 1 system works well in most on and off-road scenarios by significantly improving factory body roll and overall driving ability. ICON 2.5 Series front coilover shocks feature a vehicle-specific tune to give your Toyota 4Runner/FJ Cruiser great ride quality on or off-road, and they are adjustable from 0 to 3.5" of lift. ICON's rear 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks in this system are tuned to match the front 2.5 Series coilovers in every aspect, providing smooth and consistent damping performance front to rear. This system is finished off with a pair of 2" lift rear coil springs that have been engineered to further improve ride quality and handling.

This ICON Stage 2 suspension system for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner/2007-2009 FJ Cruiser uses the same components as the Stage 1 system with a few simple changes and additions. The 2.5 Series coilover shocks used in this system are the Extended Travel version, offering increased wheel travel that will enhance your on and off-road performance even more so than the standard travel units. Since these shocks do provide more suspension travel, they require the use of an ICON upper control arm.

IVD-K53053 - Stage 3

The Stage 3 suspension system for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner/2007-2009 FJ Cruiser includes the components found in the Stage 2 system along with an ICON Billet Aluminum Rear Lower Link kit. Extended travel ICON 2.5 Series coilover shocks and a billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arm kit provide a significant upgrade to the 4Runner's front suspension. The rear of the vehicle is improved with our 2" lift coil springs, ICON 2.0 Aluminum Series shocks, and the additional rear lower links. ICON's CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum lower links are much stronger than the OE units, can be easily adjusted on the truck for optimum pinion angle, and are protected by a machined nylon skid strip to help slide over rocks without damage to the link's structure. On top of it all, these links have been designed to provide correct roll steer geometry for the best possible handling on and off-road.

ICON's 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner/2007-2009 FJ Cruiser Stage 5 suspension system provides a significant increase to the on and off-road performance of the vehicle. This system includes the components featured in the Stage 4 setup - ICON billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arm kit, 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir rear shocks, 2" rear coil springs, and a tubular rear lower link arm kit - but sees the addition of extended travel 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir coilover shocks for balanced damping characteristics front to rear. The remote reservoir design allows for increased shock oil volume and enhanced cooling so that the rear of the vehicle can work harder for longer durations without noticeable "fade" occurring. The 2.5 Aluminum Series Remote Reservoir rear shocks also feature ICON's "Bump Zone" technology which significantly increases damping ability in the last 2" of compression travel, preventing harsh bottom-out sensation and giving the vehicle a much more controlled ride quality over varying terrain. ICON's billet aluminum lower links are much stronger than the OE units, feature a greaseable dual stage bushing, and can be fine-tuned on the vehicle with ICON's double adjuster for optimum pinion angle. On top of it all, these links have been designed to provide correct roll steer geometry for the best possible handling on and off-road.

This system includes all of the components featured in the Stage 6 setup - ICON billet aluminum Delta Joint upper control arm kit, 2.5 Series Remote Reservoir front coilovers and 2.5 Aluminum Series rear shocks, 2" rear coil springs, adjustable rear track bar, and a billet aluminum rear upper and lower link arm kit - but sees the addition of ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) front and rear. The easy-to-adjust CDC Valve allows for end-user compression changes to provide optimal ride quality across all types of terrain and vehicle cargo configurations. The remote reservoir design allows for increased shock oil volume and enhanced cooling so that the rear of the vehicle can work harder for longer durations without noticeable "fade" occurring.
