The Crown Automotive Stainless Steel Hood Latch Set is and replacement and upgrade for your factory hood latches on CJ and YJ bodies. Earlier models rely on these as their only method to hold the hood, where as the mid 70's saw the introduction of the safety catch hook, rendering these more for show. Either way, this set from Crown will last as it is made from solid stainless steel and includes new stainless hardware.
