This new axle shaft is made of 4340 high strength alloy steel which increases its torsional and tensile strengths. That means no more stripping splines at the differential or bending the axle inside the tube. With the strength of the new axles it is wise to consider the other parts and their weaknesses as you drive off up the trail.

Stronger Than Original: 4340 alloy steel is stronger than factory steel in terms of torsion strength (twisting) and tensile strength (snapping).
