No single upgrade can have as big of an offroad performance benefit as a locking differential. ARB is one of the originals and always our preferred option. The selectable design of the locker ensures easy, smooth operation under normal driving conditions, but maximum traction when needed. Their complete line offers fitment for nearly every application imaginable, and delivers 100% lock up on-demand. A relentless commitment to reliable design and the highest quality of component materials means that ARB Air Lockers are ready to handle the abuse you can throw out. From overland expedition builds to competition crawlers to desert and rock racing, ARB has logged the podium finishes and epic journeys to back up their pedigree. If that wasn't enough, all ARB air lockers are backed by a 5 year warranty. Even when time has passed beyond warranty, ARB Air Lockers are fully serviceable and rebuildable.

Jeep's latest edition of the Wrangler, known by many as the JL is quite possibly the most refined Jeep to date. Slowly building off the proven Jeep formula, the JL certainly brings a lot to the table. For those looking to bring a Sport, Sahara, or X model up to par with a Rubicon model at a fraction of the price, ARB lockers make a great locking differential choice! While the axles might not look like the traditional Dana units we know and love, they are still Dana axles at their heart. The Non-Rubicon models get a modernized variant of the Dana 30 called 'M186', and depending on trim, non Rubicon models can have either an M200 or M220 rear axle. If you have a Rubicon, and still want more strength, ARB does offer upgraded 35 spline units which replace the front and rear factory lockers, but will also require upgraded aftermarket shafts.

The long awaited Jeep JT Gladiator has catapulted Jeep headlong into the mid-size pickup market with an exciting offering. Building on the successful and refined JL platform, the JT share most of the same components. One key difference though, is that ALL JT Gladiators are equipped with the same M210/M220 Dana 44 equivalent axle combo as the JL Rubicon; only JT Gladiators come equipped with factory lockers however, so ARB Air Lockers make for a perfect upgrade to someone wanting to get their Gladiator performing on par with a Rubicon model.

Part # Differential Ratio Spline Count Notes
ARB-RD100 M186 Front (Dana 30) All 27 JL Wrangler Non-Rubicon Front
ARB-RD244 M200 Rear All 29 *MOST* JL Wrangler Non-Rubicon Rear

  • M200 axles have drain plug on bottom center of housing.
  • M220 axles have drain plug on left side of the housing.
  • Replacing factory e-lockers will require aftermarket electronics (not supplied with ARB Lockers) to modify ECU to clear error codes.Β
