aFe's Momentum ST Series cold air intake systems use the largest filters possible to optimize filtration and maximize performance of your 97-01 Cherokee XJ. The one-piece housing seals the intake system to provide the coldest and most efficient intake charge possible. This is possible due to the fact that aFe have incorporated an auxiliary air scoop into the housing's design. An included urethane plug can also be used to completely seal the air scoop. The Momentum ST system is constructed of high-quality plastic and is CAD-designed to ensure a perfect fit and provide the maximum amount of power possible on your Jeep® Cherokee.
The Momentum ST uses aFe's Power Pro 5R filter features a 5-layer design with a polyurethane frame which extends the life of the filter allowing it to be cleaned and used through multiple cycles. Stainless steel T-bolt clamps in addition to a silicone coupler at the throttle body offer strength, durability, and a secure fit. Momentum ST intakes use fewer parts than most intakes on the market. That means there's no drilling or cutting keeping installation modification-free, quick, and easy.
