The GM TH350 main shaft kit is used when replacing a 700R4/4L60/4L60E in GM full size truck applications using the NP208/241 series transfer cases. Once installed into the TH350, the output side of the TH350 looks identical to a 4WD 700R4 that is being replaced. The adapter kit includes adapter spacer, new TH350 output shaft, adapter plate, o-ring, and adapter instructions.
Transfer Case:
- GM NP208/NP241 (27 Spline)
The GM NP 208/241 transfer cases are chain driven units with a cast aluminum case. When originally coupled to the 700R the NP208/241 featured a 27 spline female input shaft, and were used in GM full size truck line-up in models years 81-00.
Transmission:
- GM TH350 (4wd)
This adapter kit is designed for exclusive use with the GM TH350 automatic transmission. This GM automatic was commonly found stock in vehicles from 1969-81. It was used in both pickups and car applications. The TH350 has aluminum, 1 piece case and is 21.5" in length.
