This adapter plate assembly is used to adapt a Ford 302 / 5.0L to the Jeep NV3550 5 speed transmission. The adapter plate is .750" in length and is manufactured from 356-T6 heat treated aluminum alloy. Included in the adapter plate kit you will receive an adapter plate, new clutch disc, pilot bushing, fastening hardware, and adapter instructions.

The NV3550 was used in the Jeep TJ Wranglers equipped with the 4.0L engine. The transmission case length is 24.00". It has a 1-1/8", 10 spline input shaft with a pilot tip of .750". The output shaft is a flush 23 spline. The bolt pattern on the face of NV3550 looks identical to the AX15, except for a shift rail that protrudes from the top front of the NV3550.
